Vans do something tour at Vans Galleria

This past wed at the Vans store in Galleria mall my friend Erin let me know that pro skaters Barbee ,Cardiel,the artist Pnut,and the Mattson2 were gonna be in the store . What an awesome time they did a jam and Cards was the dj. Pnut was drawing art on patches and giving them out after Barbee,Tim and Callie got a private shesh at Ramp 48 to end the night peep some the pics

Today gots some events going on

Whats up today at the Vans store in Galleria mall ft lauderdale pro skater Ray Barbee & Cardiel are  going to be jammin out at the store cant wait should be awesome. Tonight at Respectables is the Star Trek art show . If your a trekkie make sure you dont miss it. I have seen some of the art that is gonna be in it and its awesome . Tommorow dont forget its go skateboarding day there will be a best trick in the bowl at Ramp 48 so come out and have some fun and shred the gnar.

Transitions art show june 30th

Transitions artshow at the circus bowl June 30th . there will be open skate for 5bucks then they will close the bowl and hang up the art for the show inside the bowl which will be sick.The art show will start at 7pm

Reissue decks are fun

I like the fact they do reissue sk8 decks and trying tricks on them. I started doing backside one foot 180s on my regular board again. so for slasher sunday i decided to try it on this old school Ray Barbee . I had alot of fun doing them.

Fat Village art event

What up I hit up the Fat village art walk this morning before I went to work . Its a pretty cool scene going on there. Food trucks,art ,Pop up stores Mikey djing . Was cool I wish I could of stay when there was alot more people would of been much more fun then going to work.Here some pics that I took.

Capt's Fleet yeah boyyyyyyyyy!

Through out the years you tend to build a fleet of skateboards as a skateboarder. All made to get you through different scenerials. Any good skateboarder should be able to skate any one of them at any minute cause you never know when you come up to a spot you wish you had your regular board with. The best part is when you are shredding your retro board and kids are like you can do flips on that and I just laugh at that question everytime thinking how narrow minded todays skaters are sometimes.

Star Trek art show June 20th

For all you Star Trek fans Art Nouvea is puting on a Star Trek themed art show which will be June 20th @ respectables cafe. If you have ever been to one of there themed events you know what im talking about if not you should make this one because it will be a blast .

LurkMode Squad limited tshirt design

For those who have skated a long time you remember the Elephant skate tool . pretty much sucked but thats what we had back in 89' lol.  The wrench part didnt fit shit just the 2 open ended socket type ends . the stupid flat head part which never fit anything pretty much most used and most useless tool. It was used for rollar skates as well . So it brought me to make  this design for some limited Lurk Mode squad gear soon to come out. I kept thinking all the years of skating and what could I come up with as a design for a pocket tshirt. Hence thie elephant key just came to mind. I have no idea why but it made me think back to when I first started skating and how that was my first official skate tool. "Key to success" was just what it was you needed it to get shit done when working on yo ride.
